Our Impact

My love of the islands began in 2005 with my first trip to the USVI. After visiting St. John on a couple trips to St. Thomas,  my husband and I decided our next move would be to stay in Love City from now on! We have been vacationing on St. John annually ever since.  In 2019, I traveled with the YMCA on a Women's Impact Trip to St. John.

After visiting St. John on a couple trips to St. Thomas,  my husband and I decided our next move would be to stay in Love City from now on! We have been vacationing on St. John annually ever since.  In 2019, I traveled with the YMCA on a Women's Impact Trip to St. John. It was one of the most impactful experiences of my life. I continued as a participant the following year and then began to lead them. I have now decided to venture out on my own, to create a unique experience for other women based upon my love of the island, love of volunteering and love of self. I believe that everyone deserves to have amazing adventures.

The Friends of the Park Trail Coordinator will meet and bring us to our worksite within the National Park. They will provide the tools needed for the day's project.  The workday begins at 8:30am and ends by 2pm, with breaks and lunch in between.

In the afternoon, we beach hops to some of the best beaches in the world! Snorkeling and swimming with sea turtles is to be anticipated!  Other activities available are shopping in town or or returning to camp to unwind and enjoy Cinnamon Bay Beach.

We conclude our workday with dinner at camp. These aren't your typical "fire side" camp meals. The menu has been crafted to provide healthy, delicious, island inspired dishes that will fuel and satisfy us after a long wonderful day.

In the evenings, we take time for relaxation and reflection on the day-our true retreat time! These opportunities include starlight swims, intention setting, guided journaling, group reflections,  personal facials, nature circle medication, and entertaining games!
